The TRADEX 2003 Motorcycle Show

Whenever I go to a motorcycle show, this is the reason why I go.

This is my baby, this is what I dream about.  This is the bike I want to own.

The Yamaha Roadstar 1600

LOOK at the chrome, oooooh, shiny!

The engine in this bike is 400cc's larger than the one in my car.  The camshaft is nearly 100 lbs.  Despite the fact it weighs 700 lbs it doesn't nearly feel as top heavy as a Harley or a BMW.  The pushrods are big enough to club a professional wrestler unconscious.  The is the biggest fattest production bike you can find.

Well, next to this thing.

Despite the fact it only has a 1300 cc engine, pictures don't really explain how large this thing is.  If Yamaha ever decided to make a street cruiser version of this bike, it would be one bastard of a machine.

Here's what the newest version of my bike looks like, except mine's black, and locked in a garage because it's been raining for four months.  God, I wish I was dead, or at least living in Arizona.

Yamaha has made another version of the V-Star Classic with an 1100 cc model.  It's nice but if I'm going to upgrade I'm going all the way to the 1600 Roadstar.  To hell with compromising, this is about getting what I want.
